Why “Transport and Logistics”?
The Transport and Logistics program combines broad technical knowledge, analytical skills, and organizational abilities, preparing students to plan, design, and manage modern transport and logistics systems. The curriculum covers key issues related to transport planning and engineering as well as logistics, allowing for flexible adaptation to the needs of a changing labor market.
In addition, graduates of the Transport program—regardless of their chosen specialization—are comprehensively prepared for professional work thanks to the integration of technical knowledge with topics in management, law, economics, and the application of modern technologies. The study program includes both theoretical and practical aspects related to planning, design, and management, enabling graduates to find their place in various sectors connected with transport and logistics.
Why choose Transport? Because transport (including public transport, cycling, pedestrian, and rail transport), logistics, and freight forwarding are fields that will always be present in urban environments and have been developing at an exceptionally rapid pace in recent years. Therefore, professionals in this field are, and will continue to be, in demand.

Practical tools used in professional work
The study program also includes courses that develop skills in working with data and using modern technologies, enabling students to acquire analytical competencies that are crucial in planning, designing, and managing transport systems. Students learn reliable and efficient data analysis, process optimization, and simulation, which supports accurate decision-making and improves resource utilization in real transport projects.
Classes make use of many advanced programs such as VISSIM, VISSUM, and Aimsun, which are used to develop advanced traffic simulation models. In the area of logistics process modeling, professional tools such as FlexSim are also used.
We’re among the very best!
In 2025, the Transport and Logistics program at the Faculty of Civil Engineering ranked 2nd in the nationwide Ranking of Technical Degree Programs prepared by Perspektywy, one of the largest and most respected educational portals in Poland.
